How We Vet · The Talent Engine
AI has made fake engineering profiles cheap.
Fintech never opens an account on trust. Hiring shouldn’t either.
A polished résumé, a matching LinkedIn, and a confident first call no longer prove that a person exists, or that they did the work. So every candidate passes five gates before you ever see a profile. We call it Know Your Workforce: identity verification as a hiring standard.
Five Gates
Five gates before a candidate reaches you.
-
Gate 01
Fraud-aware screening
Every résumé is cross-checked against LinkedIn history, GitHub, and public work, with tooling that flags mismatched experience.
-
Gate 02
Identity verification
A formal ID check through an international verification vendor: document scanning, database validation, tamper detection. 100% of candidates, before any client interview.
-
Gate 03
Technical evaluation
Hands-on skill and AI-native ability are tested, not assumed, including a live build in under 45 minutes with the candidate’s own models and agents. Senior means 6+ years.
-
Gate 04
Recorded English assessment
Architecture and engineering decisions explained fluently in English, on video. The profile is client-ready, or it isn’t presented.
-
Gate 05
The hire bar
One last question, asked about every candidate: “Would we hire this person for our team?”
of applicants are accepted. Senior+ bar.
You still run the final interviews.
The five gates decide who you meet. Your standards decide who joins. Background checks run in parallel with technical matching, through a standardized pre-employment due diligence process applied consistently and without exception.
Serious engineers welcome verification, because it protects them too: every fake profile makes the next honest engineer look a little more suspicious.
Open Source
We published the checks.
Our identity-verification skill is free and MIT licensed. It checks two moments: before the first interview (résumé consistency, profile age and connections, code-history and time-zone patterns, references) and before an offer (government and tax IDs for Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, and the US, proof of address, and whether it all tells the same story). Each candidate lands in a risk tier: Low, Medium, High, or Block.
