Our story

## Fifteen years of shipping, not selling.

Icalia Labs started in 2011 on a simple belief: world-class software teams can be built anywhere, and nearshore engineers in Mexico have the unfair advantage of delivering the same output as any U.S. engineer, in the same working hours, at a fraction of the search time.

Our founding team includes Y Combinator alumni who've built, shipped, and sold companies of their own — experience we now put directly into how we vet, staff, and manage engineering teams for clients in Fintech, Healthtech, Logistics, and eCommerce.

We don't sell bodies or resumes. We sell senior engineers who join your standups, your code reviews, and your on-call rotation — and who use AI as a force multiplier without letting it replace human judgment on architecture, security, or taste.
